How we do it

Bikes get damaged in transport when they are loaded loose with other goods. We pack each bike on its own and fix it so it cannot move on the road.

You can send your bike along with your household goods, or on its own. Scooters, motorcycles and sports bikes are all handled the same careful way.

Riding a bike to a new city sounds simple, but long highway rides in summer or rain are tiring and risky, and add wear to the tyres and engine. Sending it on a truck costs about the same as fuel and tolls for a long trip, and your bike reaches clean and ready to use.

If your new city is in another state, keep in mind that you may need to re-register the bike there after some time. We can share the general steps, but the rules are set by the RTO of your new state.

Bike transport, step by step

  1. Condition check

    We note scratches and dents with you and take photos before packing.

  2. Fuel and mirrors

    Petrol is brought below 1 litre. Mirrors are removed or wrapped separately.

  3. Packing

    Tank, handle, headlight and exhaust are wrapped in foam, then the whole bike in bubble wrap and stretch film.

  4. Loading on a rack

    The bike is loaded upright on its own rack and tied front and back.

  5. Delivery

    We unpack the bike in front of you, refit the mirrors and check it against the photos.

Do I need to empty the petrol tank?

Keep less than 1 litre of petrol. We check this at pickup.

Can my bike go with my household goods?

Yes. It is loaded on a separate rack in the same truck, which also costs less.

What papers are needed?

A copy of the RC, insurance and your ID.

Do you move heavy sports bikes?

Yes. Tell us the model so we send a suitable rack and enough people to load it.

How many days does bike transport take?

Usually 2 to 8 days depending on the distance.

Can you transport an electric scooter?

Yes. Please charge the battery to about 30–50% and tell us the model, as some batteries need extra care in transport.

Is bike transport cheaper than riding it?

For long distances, usually yes once you add fuel, tolls, food and a night's stay, and there is no risk on the highway.

Will you pick up the bike from my office or a service centre?

Yes, any address in the city works for pickup or delivery.
